Established in 1965, Hammam Semlalia is a cherished landmark in Gueliz, dedicated to preserving the authentic traditions of Moroccan bathing. For generations, we have offered a truly immersive hammam experience, passed down through families and carefully maintained.

The Hammam Ritual

The Moroccan hammam is a traditional ritual performed in a steam bath, where the skin is softened by heat and moisture. A black soap made from olive oil and eucalyptus is applied, followed by vigorous scrubbing with a kessa glove to remove dead skin. The process deeply cleanses, smooths, and rejuvenates the skin, ending with a rinse, a traditional soaping massage and hair shampooing.

入口にある受付で150DH支払いました。
そこでタオル、ショーツ、ブラシ、アカスリタオルを受け取ります。
女性用入口から入るとそこは脱衣所で
おばさんが大きなバックを持ってきて
服を脱ぐようにジェスチャーで教えてくれました。紙ショーツ1枚で中へ案内され
黒オリーブのジェル状の石鹸を体に塗るように言われてそこから30分くらいたったでしょうか。
スチームサウナなので限界がきて
アカスリ担当と思われる方の所に聞きに行きました。
そしたら、台に乗るようにいわれて
そこからアカスリ、シャンプー、オイルマッサージと続きます。
シャンプー持参したのを出して
顔はＮＯ！とジェスチャーでお願いしました！
お顔もアカスリ、マッサージがあるようです。
後は全身少し熱めのお湯を桶でかけて流してくれて終了です。
外にでたら受付のおじ様がお水をくれました。
このおじ様は英語を話されて、すごく優しく話しかけてくれてとても安心感がありました。
マッサージのおば様たちもとっても優しく丁寧にやってくれてつるつるスベスベになりました。
モロッコには観光用のスパ＆ハマムがあるようですが、私達はあえてローカルなハマムを選びました！貴重な体験ができて、大正解でした！

Je n'aime pas tout ces nouveaux endroits à la mode " spa, hammam, sauna etc...." qui n'ont rien n'avoir avec les hammam de mon enfance. J'ai apprécié ma journée au hammam Semlalia, et le personnel très accueillant et les femmes à l'intérieur d'une gentillesse. Je recommande à 1000%

Incoraggiati da recensioni molto positive, siamo arrivati in questo hammam, frequentato per lo più da gente del posto e da pochi turisti. Siamo stati subito accolti da grandi sorrisi e gentilezza. Un pò imbarazzante il fatto di doversi denudare davanti a tutte ma qui è normale e ti aiutano a sentirti a tuo agio prendendoti letteralmente per mano. Di me si è occupata la dolcissima Nadia, che ringrazio.  Quello che mi è piaciuto di più è stata l'autenticità dell'esperienza: niente lussi, niente candele o luci soffuse, o spa come da noi se ne possono trovare in quantità.  Non ultimo il prezzo: con soli 15 € a testa ti offrono 1 ora di puro benessere. Esci come nuovo, con la pelle liscissima e setosa. Se tornassi a Marrakech rifarei l'esperienza senza dubbio

C’est vraiment super que tout soit fournir (serviette, brosse…) c’est un grand hamam avec trois salles et nous avons été massees en même temps. Personnel adorable dont le monsieur a l’accueil. Je vous recommande pour une expérience locale. Communication facile via whatsapp
